Urban Jewelry

Belgian designer Liesbet Bussche creates jewelry for urban space. Brussche’s large-scale sculptures take on the same forms of jewelry such as earrings and necklaces. Concrete balls become pearls for earrings and warning tape
is made of woven beads.

Dan May

Dan May is an artist living in Jacksonville, FL. He spends his days (and nights) painting dreamlike environments that transcend space and time. These delightful yet haunting images are often based in personal observations of both human’s and nature’s relationships with each other, blended with a healthy dose of whimsy, fantasy and cautious relevance



This year graduates of BA(Hons) Graphic Design & BA(Hons) Illustration at the University of Brighton presented their works on a special exhibition (6th – 11th June 2009 ). I really like the Rob Matthews‘ work “Wikipedia”  – 5000 pages, fully printed with articles taken from Wikipedia’s featured articles.

Swatch CreArt

Swatch continues its long tradition of embracing street art and artists for the new CreArt Collection. Four artists are involved in the project  – Billy The Artist, Ted Scapa, Grems and Matthew Langille.

The campaign was launched in Venice with a spectacular show on the Piazza San Marco on June 30th. Special guest was Billy The Artist. Great event! Here you can see a small video, but if you want to see the whole event you can watch it here
